Coca-Cola plans to track supply chains (CONA) provides an IT platform for North American Coca-Cola bottlers using supply chain tracking and control. You can see this information in Business Insider.

The implementation of  blockchain was entrusted to the German SAP software manufacturer, which is a partner of CONA. It is assumed that with the help of this technology, the process of interaction between bottlers of these products will be accelerated, and coordination of applications will be simplified and the whole process will be significantly cheaper.

CONA expects that thanks to blockchain, the time allotted for approval of applications from fifty days to a minimum will be reduced. Thanks to this internal registry, transactions can be tracked in seventy branches or more. This project is currently under testing.

In the logical chains of all branches participating in this testing, transactions are recorded using the blockchain, but access to this is limited so far. The company hopes that in the future it will be possible to connect all partners to this program, including Target and Walmart.
